Richard H. Steckel is the SBS Distinguished Professor of Economics, Anthropology and History at Ohio State University and a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. He is an economic historian with a special interest in health and well being. Between 2004 and 2005 he served as president of the Social Science History Association.[1][2]
